Birthday Card

One of the girls at work had a birthday over the weekend and I was incharge of the card....

I again found  a challenge that I loved over at Frosted design

Baby Shower card

Over  the weekend I had some "ME" time and created a few cards and am still working on a present which I am hopefully completing tonight for a friend for a baby shower.

I have recently discovered challenges and I love that I can use a sketch, a colour combination as a guide.

Challenge

I have finally committed to completing a challenge.  I loved the ideas that I got once I started playing with the Mojo 248. Here is my take on it -

Birthday cards

More and more friends are asking me to make them cards for them. I love being able to use my creativity and make other people happy.

This weeks requests have included -
• 40th birthday card
• 2 birthday cards

I have also create 3 birthday cards one for my niece, one for my SIL and another for a very good friend who are celebrating birthday's this month. Now all u have to do is get them in the post before their birthdays!

Invitations and more

One of my closest friends is getting married in November whilst she is on a cruise with her family. We have been joking about what her what her batchlorette party should consist of and she has decided on dinner and drinks at one of her favorite restaurants. I was asked to make the invites.
They didn't turn out like I had envisaged them - but I am still happy with them

Weekend away

Last weekend I went away with some fabulous friends. I didn't get as much as I had hoped done but it was great to be told it's time for breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and then dinner. And of course not having to think about what to cook and not having to do dishes are all added bonuses.

I made some cards and a couple if layout that need some tweaking which I had hoped to finished once I got home - however the universe had other plans.
When I arrived home both my "children" had got the flu over the weekend and where very sick.

So whilst I cared for them I cleaned out my scrap-room and took a lot of paper, flowers, embellishments, magazines and books to a local school. I can't believe how much stuff I accumulated.
